(leads Dave and Kate to a table and places the menus in front of them) EMILY : Your waiter will be right with you all. KATE : Thank you. EMILY : You're welcome. (walks away) (At this moment Dave and Kate are looking through the menu, while the waiter walks up to the table) JOHN : Hi, my name is John and I’ll be your server for this evening. Can I start you off with something to drink? (Dave looks at Kate, implying that she answers first) KATE : What kind of tea do you have? JOHN : We have sweet, unsweet, raspberry, peach & strawberry. KATE : I’ll have a raspberry tea. JOHN : (to Dave) And for you sir? DAVE : I’ll have the same as her. JOHN : Okay, I’ll be back with your drinks. (John walks away) DAVE : (to Kate) Do you know what you're getting? KATE : I think so, I wanted to try something new but I think I’ll have the usual. DAVE: Yeah this new lobster alfredo seems interesting. KATE : You should try it, since you like seafood. (John is walking up to the table with the drinks) JOHN : Here you go. (placing both of Dave and Kates drinks in front of them) Are you all ready to order? DAVE : Yes. JOHN : What will you be having? DAVE : I’ll have the new lobster alfredo. JOHN : With a soup or salad? DAVE : I’ll have the fagioli soup. JOHN : Okay and for you ma’am? (looking at kate) KATE : I’ll have the chicken alfredo. JOHN : With a soup or salad? KATE : Salad, with extra dressing on the side please. JOHN : No problem. Let me get the menus out of the way and I'll be back with the soup and salad. (walks away) (John comes back with Daves soup, Kates salad and some breadsticks) JOHN : Any cheese on the soup or salad? DAVE AND KATE : Yes. JOHN : The food should almost be out. Is there anything else I can get you all? DAVE : No we’re fine thank you. (John walks away) (After 5 minutes, John comes carrying a tray with the food) JOHN : Any cheese on the plates? DAVE : Just a little bit on mine. KATE : Yes. JOHN : Any refills? KATE : We’re good thank you. JOHN : Okay, enjoy. Let me know if you need anything. (walks away) (Dave and Kate finish their food) KATE : We should call our waiter to give us the tab. (John comes to the table bringing the tab) JOHN : Whenever you're ready. (walks away) KATE : What a coincidence. DAVE : I know right. (Dave reaches into his back pocket to get his wallet) DAVE : Oh shit. KATE : What? DAVE : I forgot my wallet at home.. AT RISE: The loud thunder grumbles and grows, the trees dance to the rhythm of the strong winds. The family wearing their pink soft pajamas, Lindsay was getting ready to tuck her daughters into bed.
Lindsay: Girls lets get ready for bed. (Alouette and Antoinette reluctantly walked towards the room) Antoinette: But mom! I’m scared! Alouette: We’re scared of the lighting and thunder! can you come sleep with us mom? Lindsay: Okay but just for tonight. (As they cuddled up in bed, the lights went out and the phone rings) Antoinette: No mom don’t go! (She answered the phone anyway) Lindsay: Hello? Diane: Hey Lindsay! it’s Diane! the storm is about to knock down the tree behind your house! you all need to get out now and fast! Lindsay: What do you mean the tree is about to fall down?! (looks out the window) Diane: It seems as if it could not withstand the heavy wind! the storm is horrible! Lindsay: (abruptly hangs up the phone) Girls let’s get in the car now! Hurry Hurry ! (Lindsay was screaming fractantly as she knew the danger they were in) Antoinette: Mom where are we going? Alouette: Yeah mom, where are we going? Lindsay: We’re going to Tia Kela’s house,I’ll explain later! Alouette: (terrified) Wouldn’t we be safer in here? Lindsay: The tree is on the verge of falling down on the house! do you really want to risk staying here?! (grabbing Alouette and Antoinette’s hand they ran out the back door) Lindsay: Oh my goodness! the tree has fallen! we have to move quickly before anything else happens! Antoinette: Mom quickly let's get to tias house! (the tree was blocking the driveway making the exit challenging but Lindsay found her way through) Alouette: Finally, tias house! Tia Kela: What’s going on? are you all okay? Lindsay: Yes we’re fine but the horrible storm knocked down the tree that was in our backyard! it almost landed on our roof! Tia Kela: Thank goodness you all are safe! lets go inside and get you all settled in the guest room. Lindsay: Thank you tia. (they settled in and quickly fell asleep, then morning came) Tia Kela: Good Morning girls! (the sun shining as if nothing had ever happened) Lindsay: Thank you for letting us stay over. I’m going home now to check how bad the damage is. Tia Kela: Okay mija, stay safe! (they drove home) Lindsay: Haha! Antoinette: (confused face) What’s so funny mom? Lindsay: Look at the branch that was blown off from the tree! it was no where near the house! I cannot believe we made such a big scene for nothing! I have to go tell tia that the storm wasn’t what we thought. (they all burst out laughing and went about about their day, realizing that they were always going to remember this embarrassing moment for the rest of their life)

Character 4: Bartender at Rio Brewing. Intro of play: Jenny was doing her homework when a *BING came ringing from her phone. Jenny assuming it was one of her friends replying to her message, picked up her phone and noticed it was a random guy. Jenny: ‘I’ll just reply later.” Says Jenny. Jenny puts the phone down, and not even 20 seconds pass, and another *BING comes ringing to her phone. Jenny picks up her phone “Damn it Kenneth!” Jenny says out loud. “I’ll guess ill just put a waving hand emoji.” Jenny implies to herself. Kenneth: “What are you doing?” Kenneth asks Jenny. Jenny: “Nothing.” Kenneth: “How was your day so far today.” Jenny: “Good.” Kenneth: “I don’t bite. Don’t be scared to talk to me, well maybe I do a little.” Kenneth says inserting a winking face. Jenny entering the bar. Cathy: “JENNY!” Jenny:” Hey, man whats up.” Cathy: “Whats new with you jp?” Jenny: “Nothing really dude, just school, work, oh and this guy has been messaging me non-stop for a whole week. I did short reply to him, but after the first couple of messages I stopped, cause he got weird.” Cathy: “Jenny, when don’t guys act weird with you? Just ignore him like you always do with other messages.” Jenny: “Your right. It was just a message. Nothing to over think about.” As Cathy and Jenny turn to the bartender, the bartender gives Jenny a free beer. Jenny: “Why the free beer?” Bartender: “This guy got it for you.” Cathy: “Get it Jenny!” Jenny: “But what guy?” As the bartender points to the man who got Jenny the beer, Jenny’s heart drop real quick cause the man who got her the beer was Kenneth. Act I : Scene One At Rise: Tia Liz is sitting on the bed across the door, facing La Negra but from her side vision she can see the living room. Negra is on the bed across from tia next to the door where she can only see Tia Liz.El Sobrino is laying down next to Negra trying to go to sleep. CHAPTER 1: As you enter grandma’s house you can feel the presence of others roaming around her home, but who is it we ask? It all happened several years ago when grandma got her sentence after being caught with undocumented beings. Wela had an altar of La Santisima muerte whom she took really good care of. Nunca le falto nada ah ese altar. When grandma got caught , she called Tia liz and told her it was her turn to look after her and take care of her, Tia Liz did not want to get involved with the altar but had no other option , because she wanted to help grandma. Grandma told her that if she promised to take good care of her , she can ask for anything she wanted and The Muerte will will guarantee it in return. Tia Liz thought she was doing it right , until grandmas court day . Grandma got sentenced with 1 year and six months in prison , and for Tia Liz that was way too much. She was disappointed full of rancor , that when she went home the first thing she did was go directly to the altar and mandecirla y a echarle madres, Tia threw her under the sink cabinet inside the restroom and until this day , the altar is still there.
Sene 1 :After a long day , everyone is in bed by now. Tia Liz , Negra and Bobo are sleeping in the same room where there's two bed across from each other.

Barbara gets on genesis truck. They did not even say hellos to each other because they were in a hurry as they were passing the Riverview in Roma the red light turned red. Genesis takes a faster route that is against the law. As genesis get back on the old highway 83 the police siren starts.

They wait there for almost 30 min since they are waiting for someone to take their orders. As they wait they have their conversations on deciding what to order.
JENNA: (Arrives) I want the whole menu, I’m literally craving everything.
KATTY: Same Girl (Looking at the menu)
JENNA: I definitely want my chilly cheese fries tonight (desperately)
KATTY: hmmm...I want the paty melt? (Thinking)

KATE : I think so, I wanted to try something new but I think I’ll have the usual.
DAVE: Yeah this new lobster alfredo seems interesting.
KATE : You should try it, since you like seafood.
(John is walking up to the table with the drinks)
JOHN : Here you go. (placing both of Dave and Kates drinks in front of them) Are you all ready to order?
DAVE : Yes.
JOHN : What will you be having?
DAVE : I’ll have the new lobster alfredo.
JOHN : With a soup or salad?
DAVE : I’ll have the fagioli soup.
JOHN : Okay and for you ma’am? (looking at kate)
KATE : I’ll have the chicken alfredo.
JOHN : With a soup or salad?
KATE : Salad, with extra dressing on the side please.
JOHN : No problem. Let me get the menus out of the way and I'll be back with the soup and salad. (walks away)
(John comes back with Daves soup, Kates salad and some breadsticks)
JOHN : Any cheese on the soup or salad?
DAVE AND KATE : Yes.
JOHN : The food should almost be out. Is there anything else I can get you all?
DAVE : No we’re fine thank you.
(John walks away)
(After 5 minutes, John comes carrying a tray with the food)
JOHN : Any cheese on the plates?
DAVE : Just a little bit on mine.
KATE : Yes.
JOHN : Any refills?
KATE : We’re good thank you.
JOHN : Okay, enjoy. Let me know if you need anything. (walks away)
(Dave and Kate finish their food)
KATE : We should call our waiter to give us the tab.
(John comes to the table bringing the tab)
JOHN : Whenever you're ready. (walks away)
KATE : What a coincidence.
DAVE : I know right.
(Dave reaches into his back pocket to get his wallet)
DAVE : Oh shit.
KATE : What?
DAVE : I forgot my wallet at home..
KATE : Oh my god, what are we going to do?

Setting:Takes place in Roma, Fronton TX. Fronton is a small ranch in the outskirts of Roma.
Time: Takes place in 2003.
ACT I: Scene One
AT RISE: The loud thunder grumbles and grows, the trees dance to the rhythm of the strong winds. The family wearing their pink soft pajamas, Lindsay was getting ready to tuck her daughters into bed.
Lindsay: Girls lets get ready for bed.
(Alouette and Antoinette reluctantly walked towards the room)
Antoinette: But mom! I’m scared!
Alouette: We’re scared of the lighting and thunder! can you come sleep with us mom?
Lindsay: Okay but just for tonight. (As they cuddled up in bed, the lights went out and the phone rings)
Antoinette: No mom don’t go! (She answered the phone anyway)
Lindsay: Hello?
Diane: Hey Lindsay! it’s Diane! the storm is about to knock down the tree behind your house! you all need to get out now and fast!
Lindsay: What do you mean the tree is about to fall down?! (looks out the window)
Diane: It seems as if it could not withstand the heavy wind! the storm is horrible!
Lindsay: (abruptly hangs up the phone) Girls let’s get in the car now! Hurry Hurry ! (Lindsay was screaming fractantly as she knew the danger they were in)
Antoinette: Mom where are we going?
Alouette: Yeah mom, where are we going?
Lindsay: We’re going to Tia Kela’s house,I’ll explain later!
Alouette: (terrified) Wouldn’t we be safer in here?
Lindsay: The tree is on the verge of falling down on the house! do you really want to risk staying here?! (grabbing Alouette and Antoinette’s hand they ran out the back door)
Lindsay: Oh my goodness! the tree has fallen! we have to move quickly before anything else happens!
Antoinette: Mom quickly let's get to tias house! (the tree was blocking the driveway making the exit challenging but Lindsay found her way through)
Alouette: Finally, tias house!
Tia Kela: What’s going on? are you all okay?
Lindsay: Yes we’re fine but the horrible storm knocked down the tree that was in our backyard! it almost landed on our roof!
Tia Kela: Thank goodness you all are safe! lets go inside and get you all settled in the guest room.
Lindsay: Thank you tia. (they settled in and quickly fell asleep, then morning came)
Tia Kela: Good Morning girls! (the sun shining as if nothing had ever happened)
Lindsay: Thank you for letting us stay over. I’m going home now to check how bad the damage is.
Tia Kela: Okay mija, stay safe! (they drove home)
Lindsay: Haha!
Antoinette: (confused face) What’s so funny mom?
Lindsay: Look at the branch that was blown off from the tree! it was no where near the house! I cannot believe we made such a big scene for nothing! I have to go tell tia that the storm wasn’t what we thought. (they all burst out laughing and went about about their day, realizing that they were always going to remember this embarrassing moment for the rest of their life)

Intro of play:
Jenny was doing her homework when a *BING came ringing from her phone. Jenny assuming it was one of her friends replying to her message, picked up her phone and noticed it was a random guy.
Jenny: ‘I’ll just reply later.”
Says Jenny. Jenny puts the phone down, and not even 20 seconds pass, and another *BING comes ringing to her phone.
Jenny picks up her phone “Damn it Kenneth!” Jenny says out loud. “I’ll guess ill just put a waving hand emoji.” Jenny implies to herself.
Kenneth: “What are you doing?” Kenneth asks Jenny.
Jenny: “Nothing.”
Kenneth: “How was your day so far today.”
Jenny: “Good.”
Kenneth: “I don’t bite. Don’t be scared to talk to me, well maybe I do a little.” Kenneth says inserting a winking face.
Jenny: “Im not scared, I’m just busy.”
Kenneth: “Well then get unbusy, and message with me.”
As Jenny reads the message she immediately puts the phone down and mumbles under her breath “No, you weirdo!”
A week goes by and Jenny decides to go out to a bar called Rio Brewing.

Cathy: “JENNY!”
Jenny:” Hey, man whats up.”
Cathy: “Whats new with you jp?”
Jenny: “Nothing really dude, just school, work, oh and this guy has been messaging me non-stop for a whole week. I did short reply to him, but after the first couple of messages I stopped, cause he got weird.”
Cathy: “Jenny, when don’t guys act weird with you? Just ignore him like you always do with other messages.”
Jenny: “Your right. It was just a message. Nothing to over think about.”
As Cathy and Jenny turn to the bartender, the bartender gives Jenny a free beer.
Jenny: “Why the free beer?”
Bartender: “This guy got it for you.”
Cathy: “Get it Jenny!”
Jenny: “But what guy?”
As the bartender points to the man who got Jenny the beer, Jenny’s heart drop real quick cause the man who got her the beer was Kenneth.
Jenny to Cathy.
Jenny: “That’s the man from facebook dude. The one I was talking about a little while ago.”
Cathy: “NO F’N WAY!”
The man was just starting at Jenny with this creepy look and smile, waving at her from a distance, and telling her to come over to him.
Jenny: “Ima take off dude, ill see you later tonight.”
Cathy: “RUN ,Jenny RUUUUUUN!”
Jenny gets in her car and first thing she does is get her cell phone out, searched up Kenneth and hits the*BLOCK* button.
Jenny: Mumbles to herself “Why do guys have to act crazy, isn’t that our jobs as woman to act crazy! Guys, I swear.”

Setting: Sullivan City , Tx at Grandma’s house.
Time: November on Thanksgiving Vacation. My Tia Liz and Negra came to Grandma's house ion their mini vacation for a visit.
Act I : Scene One
At Rise: Tia Liz is sitting on the bed across the door, facing La Negra but from her side vision she can see the living room. Negra is on the bed across from tia next to the door where she can only see Tia Liz.El Sobrino is laying down next to Negra trying to go to sleep.
CHAPTER 1: As you enter grandma’s house you can feel the presence of others roaming around her home, but who is it we ask? It all happened several years ago when grandma got her sentence after being caught with undocumented beings. Wela had an altar of La Santisima muerte whom she took really good care of. Nunca le falto nada ah ese altar. When grandma got caught , she called Tia liz and told her it was her turn to look after her and take care of her, Tia Liz did not want to get involved with the altar but had no other option , because she wanted to help grandma. Grandma told her that if she promised to take good care of her , she can ask for anything she wanted and The Muerte will will guarantee it in return.
Tia Liz thought she was doing it right , until grandmas court day . Grandma got sentenced with 1 year and six months in prison , and for Tia Liz that was way too much. She was disappointed full of rancor , that when she went home the first thing she did was go directly to the altar and mandecirla y a echarle madres, Tia threw her under the sink cabinet inside the restroom and until this day , the altar is still there.
Sene 1 :After a long day , everyone is in bed by now. Tia Liz , Negra and Bobo are sleeping in the same room where there's two bed across from each other.
Tía Liz : Negrita como estubo el camino de Austin para aka , los niños se portaron bien (STARING AT BOBO)
Negra: Bien tía it was calm ,los niños iban dormidos casi todo el camino
Bobo: ( con sueno) mom Im trying to sleep but I can't , can yah speak softer.

ACT I: Scene One
Barbara- (wakes up and gets her phone to call genesis) !!RING RING!!!
Genesis- (answers her phone) Bueno?
Barbara- morning gene, puedes pasar por mi al Puente?
Genesis- si claro nomas dame chansa para arreglarme, orita te ablo cuando vaya de Salida de la casa para que te vayas al Puente.
Barbara- okay gracias bye. (hangs up her phone and start getting ready)
30 minutes later
Genesis- (get her phone to call Barbara)
Barbara- (she answers her phone) mande?
Genesis- vete arrimando al Puente ya voy en camino.
Barbara- okay deja me arranco.
Genesis- Bueno muevele por que ya vamos bien tarde! Bye! (genesis hangs up her phone)
Genesis arrived to the international bridge
Barbara gets on genesis truck. They did not even say hellos to each other because they were in a hurry as they were passing the Riverview in Roma the red light turned red. Genesis takes a faster route that is against the law. As genesis get back on the old highway 83 the police siren starts.

Officer Rodriguez starts walking towards genesis truck.
Officer Rodriguez- good morning, the reason I stopped you was because you made the shortcut and you know you cant do that.

Officer Rodriguez-okay ma’am you don’t need to explain to me everything. Are you pending with something?
Genesis- nothing that I know of.
Officer Rodriguez- okay give me you license and let me run it.
Genesis get her license and hands it out to the officer.

Officer Rodriguez- your cleared. Don’t do that again please. Have a nice day.

JENNA: (Arrives) I want the whole menu, I’m literally craving everything.
KATTY: Same Girl (Looking at the menu)
JENNA: I definitely want my chilly cheese fries tonight (desperately)
KATTY: hmmm...I want the paty melt? (Thinking)
JENNA: Or I kind of want the Country Basket with a Blizzard on the side (Undecided)
KATTY: I want a blizzard as well
JENNA: Hey! They never came to take our orders and I’m already so hungry (frustrated)
